Dr. stone is one of those show that makes you feel smarter just by watching it. what makes the show stand out is the bite sized pieces of science facts it drops. it only fails when it comes to math but I guess if the tried to explain Senku's mental math the show would be unbearable.
There are many self proclaimed geniuses in anime but few ever reach the top smartest characters. its easy to make a character and declare that they have an IQ of 300 but something else entirely to make the viewers feel it. it isn't easy to write characters like Lelouch, Yohan, light and Senku
Another enchanting characteristic of dr. stone is its ability to make you appreciate the beauty in the science we have slept on and taken for granted light bulbs, radio, glass etcetera. after watching that show u feel like saluting every filament bulb you see. it brings to mind all the countless experiments that went into making a simple filament bulb and now we don't even give it a second glance. it helps you to appreciate the beauty in the world around you
Don't even get me started on the plot. I love how everything fits together but nothing is ever easy. it enables you to feel the weight of each development Senku puts under his belt
The irony of being 3700 years in a future that is less advanced yet we have always imagined it as some post apocalyptic cyberpunk dystopian world with cybertronic implants and plasma blasters
